Lynchburg Rotary

On Thursday, December 18th, I had the opportunity to speak with Lynchburg rotary about the Miss America organization and my experience competing in these pageants. Rotary is a wonderful service organization so it's great to partner up with people also interested in service!

Who am I?

They say college students are the most growing number of coupon users. I'm a full time grad student who is underpaid during the day and driving a 27 year old car my grandmother owned. Thanks for visiting to hear my adventures and how I stretch my very tight budget! Yes, you can save money even if you don't feel like you make enough to get started!

Born in Chicago and raised among the corn fields and John Deere tractors of northwest Ohio, I've been blessed to travel to and live in several states and cities. I recently graduated from a woman's college in Virginia with degrees in economics and political science.

I am currently pursuing my PhD.
