A loss

I have several school-related updates, most of them good. Unfortunately, however, last week our community lost a first year student, Jenna King, in a car crash as she was driving to North Carolina. I think the campus was rocked by a loss; when you attend such a small school the loss of one person is felt very strongly. I know that some students are planning a vigil here in addition to the funeral services being held elsewhere. This hits especially hard for those of us preparing our life after graduation; it is devastating to think that a 17 year old first year student will never have that opportunity.
