After writing on Abby's blog during her most recent post about the facebook debacle, I decided to check and see if anything was official yet. The Miss Ohio website currently lists Samantha Eggers as Miss Open City. Samantha was the first runner up this year at Miss Greater Cleveland/Open City and she also took the talent award, I believe.
This should clear up all speculation about who is Miss Open City; I'm not sure whether the circumstances of the change will be discussed. In any case, congratulations to Samantha and I wish her the best of luck at Miss Ohio!
